St. Moritz is a luxury ski resort of the Engadin valley of Switzerland near the border of Italy. It has hosted twice the Winter Olympics, has the Cresta Run, a natural ice world championship ring and a natural ice outdoor Olympic ice-ring. St. Moritz has more tourist during the winter season than the Summer as, of course the town is more based on Winter touristing than in Summer.

During the Winter there are a lot of sports and activities to try. First of all, there are two near by ski resorts one called Corvatsch and the other one called Corviglia. Corvatsch I would say is slightly bigger than Corviglia. I prefer Corviglia as it is closer to my holiday home there. Corviglia has many different chairlifts to take as there are a lot of them, each one taking you to a different height. In Corviglia you can also take the Gondola, Piz Nair, which takes you to the highest point on the Corviglia mountain. The other mountain, Corvatsch, has a very similar concept, which has a Gondola that stops have way up the mountain which is perfect for people who do not want to go all the way to the top. Whereas, many other people would like to go all the way to the top. If you wanted to go to the top then you would have to take the second Gondola which starts at the half-way point.
During the summer there are also a ton of fun activities to do. In Summer, there are not many Restaurants open however, there are still a few. Biking, Hiking, Roadtriping and many more activities can be done. There is a lovely mountain that you can bike up and when you reach the top there is a lake called Lej de Staz. Once you arrive at the top of the mountain you can have a lovely Lunch break at the Restaurant/Hotel called Hotel Restorant Lej de Staz. Also, as your still up there you can also go for a Swim in the lake but if its a windy day or cold at any chance then it would be better if you dont.

St. Moritz is worth visiting because it is somewhere unique and very special. Restaurants, Clubs and small bars get filled up in the Winter so if there is anytime you would like to go then I would suggest that you go during the Winter. During the summer it can also be very nice but will not be the same experience if you go during the Winter. Hopefully you can use some of this information to go somewhere nice.
